RoadTipOff ("we", "our", or "us") is operated by AA General Solutions. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the RoadTipOff mobile application ("the App").
When you create an account, we collect your email address and display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your name and email from those providers.
You provide your vehicle's license plate number and state when registering a vehicle. This is used to match road hazard reports to your vehicle.
When you submit a road hazard report, we collect the license plate number, hazard type, optional photo, and your approximate location at the time of the report.
We collect your device token for push notifications and basic device information for crash reporting and analytics.
All road hazard reports are anonymous. Vehicle owners never see who submitted a report about their vehicle. Your identity is never shared with other users.
Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase infrastructure, which employs industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We implement Firestore security rules to ensure users can only access their own data.
We use the following third-party services:
Your account data is retained as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at support@roadtipoff.com. Road hazard reports are retained for community safety purposes but are not linked to your identity once your account is deleted.
RoadTipOff is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can update your profile information within the app or contact us to exercise these rights.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email.
